+25 years' resourceful experience in the Oil industry, including 20 years in Reserves Assessment, Petroleum Economics, Reservoir Management, Technical Computing, and Data Management. Presently leading the Reserves Evaluation team of OGDCL, providing evaluations of strategic opportunities for conventional and unconventional development with an emphasis on economic evaluation. This involves applying holistic modeling and decision analysis techniques to support the value optimization of the full upstream portfolio within the Company’s upstream strategy.
Also responsible for significant liaison tasks with several stakeholders including internal and external entities, such as Exploration, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Commercial, Joint Venture, Production, Project, Process, Auditors, Regulators, EXCOM, BOD, Ministry of Energy, etc. This pertains to areas such as Economic Evaluation, Business Planning and Budgeting, Field development and depletion plans, and Sensitivity analysis for all phases of an E&P portfolio.
Possessing a solid foundation in subsurface evaluations and a good familiarity with the full range of upstream activities, from exploration through to reservoir management, Data Management, cost estimation, and production operations. Also an expert in Merak PEEP/VOLTS, OFM & MS Office, especially Excel (Economic modeling, Spreadsheet, Graphing, Pivot table Modeler).
Leading Reserves Evaluation Section comprises 6 Engineers. Responsible for Reserves, Economics, and Business Planning Portfolios. Direct reporting and presenting to company management, JVPs, regulators, external auditors, and other stakeholders. Additional responsibility of leading a part of the Reservoir Monitoring Section comprises 4 additional Engineers.
