I am a Geologist and Geophysicist with a wide and diverse background in the energy industry, including seismic interpretation and geological exploration. I have solid knowledge in 2D and 3D interpretation, mapping, and reservoir geophysical characterization, and extensive experience developing drillable prospects.

My proven experience spans different basins and/or tectonic settings in more than 15 countries, with a special approach to complex reservoir conditions, including:

• tight reservoirs
• heterogeneous sequences
• highly faulted/fractured areas
• severe unconformity settings

Director of E&P at Imetame Energia:

• Lead the G&G team in undertaking Geological and Geophysical modeling for 19 Blocks in Brazil onshore. Conventional Plays include Reconcavo, Potiguar, Sergipe-Alagoas Basins (defining petroleum systems of onshore Brazil Basin through the generation of full geological models to developing drillable prospects).

• Characterize and develop the Unconventional Play in 5 Blocks at São Francisco Basin, performed tasks including seismic data 2D Interpretation, 2.5D G&G modeling (Looking for Sweet Spot), and the integration of non-seismic methods (gravity and magnetic).

• Use seismic data quantitatively to determine rock properties and fluid content. This includes the application of Inversion/AVO techniques to recognize and risk pore-fill types.

• Implement a new approach for the uncertainty analysis and the quantification of reserves for each prospect developed.

• Mentored all freshman employees in all geosciences areas.

• Manage occasional consultants who are hired for specific activities.

• Elaboration of the exploration plan for the next 20 years for each Imetame Energia Block (Seismic acquisition and well drilling planning).

• The plan involved the YTF evaluation as well as budget considerations for the investigation of the whole new assets.

• Co-responsible for revenue growth and P&L results, establish and maintain strong relationships with all our partners.
