I am a motivated and skilled Petroleum Engineering graduate student at Texas Tech University, with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. I have a robust foundation in exploration, production, drilling technologies, and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), bolstered by internships at leading organizations such as ONGC and Sunreeja Oil and Gas. My expertise includes reservoir simulation and data analysis using advanced tools like CMG, ECLIPSE, and MATLAB.
I have contributed to innovative projects such as production enhancement using low saline water, showcasing my ability to combine experimental analysis with simulation to improve recovery techniques. With proficiency in PVT analysis, SCADA systems, and technical software, I bring a versatile skill set to the energy sector. Committed to problem-solving and teamwork, I am poised to make significant contributions to innovative energy projects while pursuing my academic and professional goals.
I recently completed a project focused on "Production Enhancements Using Low Saline Water", under the mentorship of Dr. Gaurav Hazarika. The work involved screening various reservoir field data through EOR GUI to identify suitable field core samples for experimentation. Detailed laboratory studies were conducted to evaluate the interactions between low saline water and reservoir rock, focusing on changes in wettability, interfacial tension, and potential oil recovery improvements.
In addition, I performed SARA analysis of crude oil and evaluated its properties, including API gravity, pour point, viscosity, and sulfur content. Utilizing reservoir simulation tools, the impact of low saline water injection on production rates was predicted, ultimately demonstrating its potential as a effective enhanced oil recovery method.
